HIFU Facelift – High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound
HIFU facelift treatment is an innovative, painless and non-invasive way to reduce wrinkles that lasts up to two years and is skin-friendly, safe and effective.

HIFU stands for high intensity focused ultrasound and is also more commonly known as the non surgical facelift procedure. The HIFU facelift treatment has many different capabilities that include, face and brow lifting, tightening of the connective tissue and even cellulite treatments.
The HIFU facelift procedure involves highly concentrated ultrasound waves penetrate deep into the skin and stimulate collagen and elastin production. 20% of the result can be seen immediately after the treatment, however the full result of the face lift HIFU treatment are shown 3 – 6 months later.
HIFU Treatment
High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) non-surgical facelift treatment uses ultrasound energy to encourage the production of collagen, which results in firmer, tighter skin.
HIFU is most widely known for its use in treating cancer tumours the first reported HIFU facelift treatment for aesthetic use was in 2008.
HIFU therapy for face was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2009 for brow lifts. The device was also cleared by the FDA in 2014 to improve lines and wrinkles of the upper chest and neckline (décolletage). HIFU neck and face lift treatment has shown to be both popular and effective treatment across the UK with many celebrities trying the treatment for themselves.
Several clinical trials have found HIFU treatment to be safe and effective for facial lifting and refining wrinkles. Patients who had the non surgical facelift were able to see results in a few months after treatment, without the risks associated with surgery.
HIFU procedure is also used for overall facial rejuvenation, lifting, tightening, and body contouring.
HIFU Facelift Procedure
The HIFU facelift procedure uses highly focused ultrasound waves that penetrate the skin and accelerates the body’s own healing process in the face, neck and décolletage areas and thereby helps sagging skin to tighten itself and become more firm. This method requires no creams, no artificial filler products or toxins.
The HIFU treatment relies solely on the body’s natural regenerative capacity, meaning its very natural and results slowly develop over the 3 – 6 month period, although most clients see results within weeks post treatment. Since the treatment targets deeper layers, the surface of the skin is not affected. After the treatment, you can simply go about your usual activities.
The HIFU procedure stimulates new collagen production via a targeted input of ultrasound energy into the deep tissue layers of the skin. This warms the tissue, which in turn triggers a natural skin response that initiates a regenerative process through the production of neo-collagen.
The high focused ultrasound energy target the uppermost layers of the skin (e.g., to counteract fine lines, wrinkles, and changes in pigmentation). HIFU Facial Treatment
